Bought for a diabetic with poor manual dexterity and sensitivity. It connected to her Vizio TV with no issues. She loves it and says it's the best gift she's received in a long time. A gift for me too, because I no longer hear her yelling "doesn't work" at the normal remote control.

Bought for my elderly mother as a basic remote control for her Vizio TV. Difficult to program, bad instructions, volume difficult to read on the channel arrows, and after a month it no longer works. Reprogramming may be required, or the buttons may be stuck. It wasn't abuse. We are now buying another remote control and I would not recommend this one. It's a shame because I liked the simplicity of the design.

Bought for an elderly mother. It worked fine for a while, but now the buttons become unresponsive and have to be pressed firmly or repeatedly. Now it's time to change the batteries. Wow what a bad design. The secret is to tug on the small (not relatively large hole next to it) lanyard hole to pull on the hidden plunger that reveals the battery cover. I had to take it apart to figure out how to open it. To their credit, the battery cover didn't break when I unplugged it.
