Recent events left me with a negative impression of the customer service team at Huthbrother. I had planned to acquire a new component for my lawn mower, but sadly, I received the incorrect component instead. My attempts to get in touch with their customer support team in order to have the problem resolved were met with nothing but frustration on their part. To begin, it was exceptionally challenging to get in touch with a member of their customer service team. I tried phoning a number of times, but each time I was either put on hold for an extended period of time or given an automated message to listen to. After what seemed like an eternity, I was able to speak to a person, but they were unhelpful and condescending. After I had described the problem, the employee informed me that the appropriate component was currently out of stock and wouldn't be available for several weeks. The agent merely shrugged it off and told me to "just wait" in response to my question about whether or not there was anything they could do to speed up the process. I was astounded by the lack of concern that they showed for the requirements of their customers as well as the dismissive attitude that they shown towards my problem. In general, my interaction with the customer service personnel at Huthbrother was really frustrating for me. The horrible customer service really destroys the shopping experience, which is a shame considering the company's offerings appear to be of a quality that is at least passable. I will not be purchasing with them again, nor would I suggest their online store to anyone who is searching for one that is reputable and offers excellent customer service.
