I really wanted to like this kettle. It looks good. He whistles. The handle doesn't get hot. It's made from a thin sheet of metal, so I figured it wouldn't last long. After a few months it started to rust around the edges but I could deal with that. You can't leave water in it, which my last two kettles couldn't, and it's a pain. It rusts inside and the water turns brown. But less than two years later, it just started leaking from below. The constant dripping when full turns the indicator lights on my old stove out. Someday I will find a teapot that will live forever like the 40 year old Revere teapot my husband killed and looks beautiful. It wasn't Chantel. It's not like this.
