We have a very heavy metal door in the entrance. We've tried various rubber doorstops and they all seem to give way after a while and don't stay firmly in place. We almost gave up, and that's when I decided to give it a try (via Vine). That works great. The bottom of our door is wood and the textured bottom keeps the stopper really secure in the door. The smooth glossy top makes it easy to place. It's durable, looks good and serves its purpose.
