This pan looks good, but appearances are often deceiving. This pan actually holds more liquid than the OEM pan, but that's where the good stuff ends for me. First, the pallet doesn't fit between the cross member and the gearbox. I had to add shims to the gear mount to raise the gear about a quarter of an inch. Then comes the location of the drain plug. It couldn't be placed in a worse place. That's probably fine for most applications, but for me it sits just above the exhaust pipe. Finally, and I should have figured it out from the pictures, the pallet doesn't have a little nub on the inside corner for the dipstick to land on. This allows the dipstick to go too deep into the sump, making it impossible to accurately gauge the fluid level. That last word was the last straw for me. The palette was on my car for a total of eleven days. I didn't like rotating the transmission bearings and not knowing the exact fluid level was driving me crazy. Bought the skillet from PML. It fits better and they will make a new hole for alternative drains.
