Review on Enhance Engine Performance with Denso 1976040 Mass Air Flow Sensor by Aaron Ward

I have a 2007 WRX Limited. I had an intermittent problem for almost a year that even 2 local shops didn't solve. Intermittent rough running with time lag at low throttle and low RPM. After many parts replacements including at one point the knock sensor and troubleshooting/fixing various minor issues that were causing the incorrect knock signal, the problem was still there. The last time I visited a Subaru shop they told me it could be the mass airflow sensor, although there were no codes or anything their computer could read. Cleaned up the original with 143k. I still went home with the problem. I went online and confirmed three times that this is the correct MAF for my car. Then I started reading other reviews and found several WRX and STI owners having the same problem. One guy even said if the MAF is over 100,000 replace it. So I ordered it on Wednesday and received it last Friday. Switched places and viola! It was the answer. I drove it to and from work all week, looked at the Cobb data and had no problems. I'll wait and see if my mileage comes back as it also happened as a result of rough work. If you're having a similar problem, it's worth buying this and seeing if it solves your problems!
