I've had one for a little over a year. I only drink a few cups of coffee every morning, nothing more. I am very careful with the machine and always use purified water. I'm here because I need another coffee maker and it won't be another one of these! Attention buyers! Firstly, I live in a humid place and since I've had it, it gets very humid inside and has a hard time drying out unless I leave the lid open for four to six hours. It looks ugly and takes up a lot of space on my counter which I don't appreciate! Second, I have no way of seeing how much water I'm adding, so I have to use measuring cups each time, which is very cumbersome. more problems than other types of coffee makers. Third on my list is the worst. Yesterday I started vaping like crazy! I smelled something like a chemical or sour odor in the vapor. The coffee seemed very bitter. Every part of the outside was covered in boiling hot steam and very little coffee came through the brewing mechanism! I kept all parts clean and tidy. I see no reason that it should suddenly fail. Fourth, it wasn't cheap to begin with. Fifth, I live in a small house with a small kitchen and it takes up an insane amount of counter space and I don't like it. I'm into red and there weren't many options and I love the vintage style. , so I thought it was worth a try, but actually I'm disappointed and outraged at the moment. In the end I would say - save yourself the grief and don't buy this car! Just don't get it! I'm shocked to see how many other people are having the same issues as me now. At least I know it's not my fault. This is the fault of the company and this machine! In the past I have had small standard Black and Deck or Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee makers and they have served me well for many years. They never broke! The only problem was that after working with me for so long, they were finally looking a little shabby. So I replaced them. Actually my last one broke but I had it for nine years! I've had this thing for a little over a year! That's not good at all. Maybe that's why I went to the trouble of keeping it mopped, clean, dry and well cared for, and then, just over a year later, suddenly, phew! It's not good anymore. I've tried it twice in a row and all it does is release an insane amount of steam, very hot steam coats the outside of the machine and almost no coffee comes through. It smells bad, but coffee doesn't! i don't drink it It suddenly tasted very bad. It's bitter and I know something's wrong, so I don't want to be poisoned. So now, through no fault of my own, I need a new one, and I rated it good at first. I cross all my hymns of praise. There's no reason it shouldn't work properly or at these prices anymore! It's only been a year and I've always taken good care of him. I am angry. It should not be! Don't buy this car. Mine is in the trash right now!
