2000 Honda Odyssey >230,000 miles quoted >$500 for starter replacement. My experience with "fixing" cars is topping up oil and wiper fluid. But my wife thought I could do it. She was right and Odyssey lives on! Great car, we are the first owner, the starter was relatively easy to install and then started immediately. We had to buy a 6" socket extension, but otherwise all we needed was a standard socket set and a screwdriver.
