Good for shipping. Good price, good value only if you need that much paper.

A GOOD REPLACEMENT FOR SHIPPING PAPER, ALTHOUGH SIMPLE. My previous use of paper was actually a roll of 60# duct tape. This paper seemed a lot thinner and my first thought was that I hope it will be just as strong for shipping. That's all I use this paper for. So far this has worked well and I didn't find the paper too light to carry around. It never broke when I used it for swaddling. SAVE SOME MONEY WITH COST AND LESS WASTE A 60#30" x 30ft roll of paper was $4.29 at Target. ($3.99 here at Revain) This 30" x 150ft 40# roll of paper at Revain was $20.75 and costs $4.15 for a similar amount. So the savings are not that extreme. But I think there is less waste. When I think about it, when I get to the end of the roll it's not necessarily going to match what I need, so some is wasted. In fact I delayed the end of the roll 4 times (because 150 is 5 x 30) so I had less waste as well. Of course, this only makes sense for you if you need that much paper. Don't forget that the 60 density you find most often in the store is heavier than the 40 density here. The paper came in a long box that fitted well, so I left it in the box for storage. This worked well to keep the end of the paper from tearing or crushing in my storage closet. The plastic tips that can be used to attach to the reel slide out making it quite difficult when you grab them to pull the reel out of the box.

Pros
  • Quality and Finish: The paper is strong, smooth, NOT coated or waxed. It is not waxed, can absorb ink and resists moisture quite well.
Cons
  • For old
