A few months ago I bought a trendy ratcheting crimping tool because I wanted to up my wiring game. I was disappointed in the quality of the crimp the expensive tool produced. Not only that, they weren't attractive either. I bought this tool because I didn't have the confidence to crimp my expensive tool. I also bought bare butt connectors to go with them. Using it with non-insulated butt connectors gives such a nice squelch every time. But wait, there's more! Crimps are SUPER strong for bare and insulated connectors. I will be using these instead of my expensive ratchet crimping tool.
