Just received the table runner I ordered in Burgundy. First impression: This is a beautiful little runner. Delicate and rich feel with no lace. I agree with another reviewer who stated that it's almost impossible to find good running shoes in anything other than white or lace. I really like the dark color (probably half a liter darker than in the photo). It drapes beautifully and will look lovely on an autumn table. In terms of grooming, it seems best to wash your hands with 1/4 cup vinegar and maybe ivory soap the first time. The less washing, the better. Lay flat or hang to dry, gently ironing with an iron on a low setting if necessary. While it might take a little more effort to make it look nice, I think it's worth it. As for durability. The time will show. That's the only reason it doesn't get a fifth star. If it holds up well to washing and use, I plan to buy a few more in different colors.
