Review on ๐Ÿงณ KAILE Magnetic Folding Travel Instructions for Easy Portability by James Mcphearson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reasonable price, good quality

Pros: - Reasonable price for a compact, travel-friendly board game set. It also prevents pieces from falling out of position due to accidental clumsiness and/or children. - The chess pieces are traditional in design, making them handy for teaching new players the game. - The board folds down with a strong latch to accommodate the board securely closed. for travelling. Disadvantages: - All queen pieces have a crown, which is a bit confusing for young players when learning the game and distinguishing between normal pieces and pieces with a king. - checkers / backgammon *small*. It would be nice if they were a bit bigger to make them easier to maneuver, especially when playing backgammon on a recessed tray. I want the light squares to be the traditional ivory/white. Teach children to play and constantly correct (or improve) themselves that light squares are not "white". slightly annoying, but by no means a real problem. Other thoughts: - The magnets aren't all aligned (just a manufacturing reality, no oversight), causing the pieces to stack together and play randomly. It doesn't matter much as you can switch to another part that has the same north-south pole arrangement. - 4 stars (instead of 5) just because of the weight and overall quality. It's perfectly acceptable given the price, but it all feels cheap (which the heck it is, but that's okay).
