I was a little skeptical about compatibility at first as I had previously come across USB network adapters that claimed to be compatible but had to find an obscure driver package. online to get it working, but this one worked as expected on both OSX and Windows. I haven't done extensive performance testing as I only use it for network maintenance tasks. It offers a stable physical gigabit connection to the local network and that's all I need from it. Other plus points are the good build quality and a colour/finish very close to the 2017 MBP which is another reason why I chose this particular adapter. No complaints here. Good product.
