Before I decided on the Cuisinart vertical waffle maker, I did a lot of research on different types and brands of waffle makers. I couldn't be happier with my choice. This is a great waffle maker! Easy to use, makes great waffles and doesn't take up much counter/storage space. It's very easy to make perfect waffles; Just make sure you use the measuring cup that comes with the waffle maker first. Once you get a feel for how much batter to put in, you can use any measuring cup. The main thing is not to overfill the waffle iron, otherwise the batter will rise into the spout. I've had no issues with sticky waffles or batter running out of the waffle maker. The waffle maker has a melody that lets you know when the waffles are ready. Waffles are always crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Always perfect waffles! If you're thinking of buying this waffle maker, you should. You will be satisfied with the purchase.
