I have 5 of these covers. I already have 3 of them. All have proven themselves and still work. The batteries fit snugly and closing is no problem. The plastic is strong enough that if I need to take a few batteries with me, I just slip the case into my backpack or tool case. I also include a card with the date the batteries were last charged/discharged. The case seems to work well for both rechargeable and alkaline batteries. The only downside is that they seem a bit pricey. But then the quality is worth it. Recommend.
