Sounds like a great product but the clasps don't last long. Nice. You'll probably just end up with a rubber band over it if the tabs fall off with use.

Better than I expected. The price is a bit higher than those cheap plastic cases, but this is a well thought out and engineered product. Worth every penny. Holds batteries securely, doesn't rattle, soft bottom in case. The rubber on the underside ensures a secure hold when working (prevents slipping). Secure fit and high-quality materials.

This is a solid, well made case and I like it more than anything I've had; However, note that it is not easy. It is very well made for a simple occasion and therefore heavy for its size. If you're interested in a sport that requires an ultra-lightweight package I'd look elsewhere, but you'll likely end up buying a lower quality case.

Generally good quality but the hinges and catches are just flimsy pieces of plastic, imagine they will wear out and break over time. I haven't had any issues before and mine are designed to last longer than normal daily use so nothing to worry about here but if you plan on using this daily for work etc I would be wary of that potential . A stronger locking system would undoubtedly make this item a five star as everything else is very well made.

I have 5 of these covers. I already have 3 of them. All have proven themselves and still work. The batteries fit snugly and closing is no problem. The plastic is strong enough that if I need to take a few batteries with me, I just slip the case into my backpack or tool case. I will buy a few more of these. I use them to store AA NiMH batteries in my ham bag. There they are, a good storage box for 8 AA batteries that you can toss in your bag without fear of a lit lamp popping out or the plastic tearing. The batteries sit firmly on a foam stand and the lid is secured with two latches to prevent accidental release. The legs underneath feel comfortable.
