Review on OXO SteeL Cocktail Strainer 3 Inch by Jason Unruh

I was hoping for a "very fine sieve" as advertised but it is good at best. I have a metal rice strainer that you wash dry rice in and it's about the same thickness. I wish the weaving was tighter so the holes were smaller. Filters large and medium particles. However, it does not filter fine and tiny. To give you an idea, the smallest thing that is filtered is the size of the pre-ground coffee (for example from a Folgers can). Even then I'm not sure if it will load more than 95%. It's pretty solid and well built. It's easy to clean. Generally decent quality so I'll rate it a 3/5. In general - it works decently for the price and quality. Unless you're filtering for something very small, this should work fine for you. If you want something that is considered "very fine" for filtering loose tea or fine/medium pulp, I wouldn't recommend this strainer.
