I almost sent it back when I first received it due to a distortion in the instructions. but if I say prepare batteries and list two different sizes and say "not in package", ignore it, it just means they are already in the mouse, just plug them in for a few hours before you using it for the first time. This babe is completely silent, which means my incessant clicks during gameplay won't drive my husband crazy watching his sports on TV! The speed is good, I didn't notice any difference in games compared to a wired mouse. And I love that I don't have to carry around a big pack of AA batteries all the time! So far I've had to charge once so I'd say one charge lasts about 10 days. it will be different for each user depending on how often and how long they use it. The mouse itself is comfortable to hold and does not require sharp clicks. But it's not programmable. So if you need side buttons for more than just forward/forward scrolling on a page, you might want to look at another mouse. For my purposes and purposes this is a great little mouse, the price is right, it does exactly what I need it to do and it does it quietly! I am happy with my purchase!
