Bought this battery for an old automatic garage door opener. The opener did not work with the original square battery and did not work with this new battery. I don't blame the battery. This is the only place I have found this old 505/221A 22.5 volt battery. It may be important for some to know that the original of this test was square and long. This one is round. I think I would recommend making sure your subject doesn't need a square shape. I don't understand why it matters if the battery compartment is such that the battery keeps contact with the terminals.
