I couldn't find this battery anywhere. My rental car has an older garage door opener. It wasn't the same battery we had, but it worked!

These batteries are very hard to find. I used it to remotely control a 1959 Magnavox Concert Grand 42 tube stereo phonograph. The highest quality and long service life are guaranteed.

I have an old electric garage door and couldn't find a battery until my son found Exell for me - it works great as does my 60 year old garage door.

Two problems with this battery1. It's a little shorter than the original. You should have a holder that has some flexibility in terms of size. Make sure you have a solid contact surface. Judging by the reviews, some people have used a piece of aluminum foil.2. longevity theme. The last battery lasted about 10 years on a PC. testing equipment. This was the original Eveready. The voltage is correct, so time will tell this problem.

Bought this battery for an old automatic garage door opener. The opener did not work with the original square battery and did not work with this new battery. I don't blame the battery. This is the only place I have found this old 505/221A 22.5 volt battery. It may be important for some to know that the original of this test was square and long. This one is round. I think I would recommend making sure your subject doesn't need a square shape. I don't understand why it matters if the battery…
