Another time I should have paid attention to reviews. But since I have many years of soldering experience, including military ones, I figured I could make it work. As the title says, don't worry. I've tried connecting 16 gauge zip cord and there's really no way I can get a decent solder joint on chrome steel, especially when trying to keep the LED connected. After trying this for 20 minutes I was so disgusted that I just threw the whole pack away. I would return them but I don't even feel like soldering the LED back in and trying to put the pieces back together. weak construction. definitely the 3 amp limit because I wouldn't trust metal to handle anything more. LOOK ELSEWHERE!
