Need better spikes; The cap fell off

These pedals are EASY and have served me well for several months. For the price they fit quite well. The spikes don't seem to be easily replaceable and they aren't sharp. They're a bit rounded and not the toughest. The dust cap on the left pedal came off after a while while riding and I lost it. The pedal still works, but the insides are exposed to the nasty elements. I ended up replacing them with a more durable pair. They're light and good to start with, but you can replace them at the end. Did I mention they are CRAZY LIGHT?
