Bought this ($50) to replace the same one my daughter broke. Unfortunately the first one I received had a defective mechanical mechanism and stuttered and stuttered intermittently while the tune was playing and the characters were spinning. I sent it back and bought a second one hoping it was faultless. The second (price changed to $40) had the same problems as the first, except that the spinning figures inside the sphere dangled and swayed back and forth. From this I conclude that these are not high-quality snowflakes.
