Review on AVF SDC1140 Stand 55 Inch Chrome by Jason Sergeantson

I ordered this stand for our LG 55" LED flat screen TV, model 55LB6100. The name of this stand on Revain said it would fit TVs up to 55 inches, so I ordered it because it was $88 at the time and was good value. After receiving the package, I looked again at the box and parts and saw that the top shelf was only 45 inches wide. Our LG TV is 55 inches diagonally and 48 inches wide on the sides. The LG TV legs are on either side of the TV so they are outside the edges of this AVF TV Stand and will not fit. I was very disappointed and as I was unable to use the stand for its intended purpose I requested a refund from Revain. Revain sorted everything out with no problems and the next day the UPS driver picked the stand up from our house. He put a prepaid return label on it and I received my refund in 1-2 days. The return process was great and I'm happy to be a home buyer. If you are interested in this TV stand, it definitely fits TVs up to 50 inches. But with a 55" TV, you should check whether your TV feet are in the center of the TV or on the edges. The current name of this product states that it is suitable for TVs up to 55 inches, but that can be somewhat can be misleading. Also, the stand looks trendy and would look nice in our loft. Other reviewers who have had the TV say it holds up well. I hope my review was informative.
