An Engineer's View

This is for the white square model: Who says it's difficult to work with or that the settings don't work, these people don't get a donut out of a paper bag. Listen, you want real reviews, keep reading. This is a standard heating element with a stylish glass front. It dissipates the heat well, but is no different than the old Sunbeam underfloor heating from the 1960s. Same principle, same method, same metal heating element. It's roughly a 2 x 2 inch square, some of the images try to make it look like a 16 x 9 layout and cover half the wall, well maybe half the wall in the dollhouse but not the actual wall. This is a 2'x2' square. The heat escapes from the top of the device through the fins in the metal grille. It's radiant heat, so there are no fans, and it's very quiet, which is nice. After connecting to the network, it takes about 15 seconds to boot the control system. The light comes on, but nothing can be selected for up to 15 seconds. Be patient. Following the prompts will require you to enter SETUP mode and then within 10 seconds press SETUP and UP ARROW to toggle between the C and F displays. This exchange will reset the control system. The screen turns off for about 15 seconds. just be patient All in all it's a good heater, uses an old but reliable heat source, puts out good heat and has a nice touchscreen glass front.

Pros
  • SAVE MONEY: This unit has an ECO mode that uses less than half the energy it uses and you can program it to stay on only when you need it.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
