Before buying compared with Sigma 35mm F1.4 art. Sigma turned out to be twice as heavy. Probably due to luminosity. Aperture is not the main characteristic for me when choosing a lens. The 5-axis stub and high working iso values in my a7m3 replace my aperture in the dark. Aperture open to 1.4 is practically not used in most scenes. I did not sacrifice weight and dimensions because of this. A fully open aperture is not always working in practice. At 35mm from Sony, you can already work at 1.8. Like focus, smart and without unnecessary sounds. And at any aperture value. The lens turned out well.
