I had a 2010 Mac mini with Bluetooth 2.0. I tried the Jabra 510 and 810 speakers with a Mac via Bluetooth, but the voice quality was poor (direct USB connection sounded ok). Quicktime Player 7 recordings showed it sampled at 8000Hz over Bluetooth. I added a Jabra Link 370, installed the Jabra software, updated the firmware on all my devices (connect to USB to update) and the sample rate went up to 16000Hz when connected via 370 which is a definite improvement and competes with a direct USB connection to the speaker. 370 presents itself to the Mac as a USB audio device (in and out), although it is bluetooth. It's not bad - it's easy to pair with a Jabra speaker in the system settings, and it will automatically connect to the speaker when the speaker is on and Bluetooth enabled. You can connect the 370 to more than one speaker, but only one of them will work at a time. Connecting to a second speaker disables the first. This is not a problem either.
