I usually wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 depending on the style and width of the shoe. As they were only medium wide I ordered a size 8 and they are slightly larger than I prefer. The width is rather wide than medium. They're also loose around the ankles, so be sure to wear socks with them. Also, they have very little to no padding, so I have a Dr. Scholl's Air Pillo, which made them more comfortable. I thought about returning them and ordering a size 7 1/2 but decided to keep them. I've worn them for several rounds of 9 hole golf and haven't had any blisters or other sores.
