Review on 🚲 Wheels Manufacturing Handlebar Shim, 25.4-31.8 mm - Efficient 1 Pair by Paul Dahl

Suitable for using a second straight bar in place of a drop bar on a Specialized cyclocross bike. I mainly ride off-road and this makes it much lighter and more maneuverable than a 29" mountain bike. It's a little difficult for one person to keep the pieces aligned during installation. I was afraid of dirt getting into the gap could.But I aligned the shims so that the gap between the shims is basically the same as the gap between the stem and the stem clamp.It would be better if there were marks on the ends of the pieces to help center them.My straight handlebars has, like many other bars, a geometric pattern that I used to think was just for looks, but its purpose is really to center the bar during installation, so the bar is now centered on the Wheels Manufacturing spacers , but there are no marks on the spacers. Installing it by eye only, this all seems off center by 2-3mm. Should the difference be in differenti If certain driving situations have a noticeable effect on the steering, I may have to adjust it again. It is desirable that I have an assistant when I do the setup. There's also a type of compound that comes in a tube, not exactly glue but for holding things in place which will work - although I didn't want to invest more money in them I'd rather spend money on tools.
