Review on 🔧 Fix Your Center Console Lid with APDTY 035921 Latch Repair Kit by Steven Hudson

Just installed in my 2013 Silverado. This is a center console latch that can be raised to take center stage on the split sofa. It fits like the old one but much stiffer. I suspect that's because the old one must have been on the verge of collapse up until the point it happened. It looks like it will break just like the old one, but since it lasted 6 years I'm not too worried about that. There are no installation instructions, but if you are not sure, simply unscrew the four Torx screws. Then all you have to do is snap the fittings on either side of the handle, which you need to carefully open by hand. You have to loosen the two Phillips screws on the old handle and then simply swap them. It took me 5 minutes.
