This is a simple but beautiful desk. Definitely worth the money for what I intend to use it for. The packaging was fine. I noticed a small dent in the corner, but that could also be because I accidentally dropped one of the shelves onto the base of the main table. It's not wood, but the material feels solid and sturdy in a way - again, for what I use it for, it works for me. It's a bit heavy so if you have another person to help move the table that's a plus. I'm the only adult in the family, so I had to assemble it by myself and move it step by step. The instructions were easy and it took about 1-1.5 hours to assemble. Remember that shelves can be placed on either the left or right side, so make sure everything is in place before adding the base. I followed the instructions step by step and didn't realize that I actually needed the shelves on the right, so I had to swap a few things. but it's good, it works both ways. Overall I am very happy with the color and the table.
