Review on 🔧 Bilstein 24-069281 - Enhanced Performance 4600 Series Shock Absorber by Maurice Jimenez

Let me start with this fact: there is no Bilstein after sales service. Other than that, and I'm quoting from Bilstein North America's website, the pictograph instructions are useless. At least on this particular shock absorber, the two rubber shock absorbers are completely different and it is completely impossible to distinguish which is the upper one and which is the lower one. Obviously, one with a conical shape fits the other, but the other is flat on one side and ribbed or slotted on the other. What's up and down there? There's no way of knowing, and I have at best a 33% chance of guessing correctly, but why guess? So, I found the instructions useless, very general and poorly written, maybe I should check online. Nothing. I checked out the Bilstein website and was encouraged by the following on their home page: "Quote: Need service? One call is enough and one of our trained employees will be at your disposal. As our bespoke product program requires personal consultation, our representative will put you in contact with the right person to meet your specific requirements. Our team of engineers and sales representatives are on hand to provide full advice and support regarding our products and production guarantee - be it by telephone or on site. Close quote"Well that's a lot of PR crap. Nobody answers or calls back. There is no customer service, so you're on your own. Bought Bilstein for the first and last time, despite its relatively good name, you guys Support is non-existent. Maybe I'd have better results if I spoke German. So I'll take a guess, ride them for a while and then return them to Revain for another pair while my warranty is still up. I'll do that until I know which is better or until I get a call back from Bilstein, whichever comes first. The review and cost of shock absorbers will not do Bilstain any good. If they call and I don't hold my breath I will update this review.
