Review on 💻 Gearmo Pro 5ft. USB to RS-485/422 Serial Adapter - FTDI Chip, Windows 10 Support by Aaron Gordon

The last 3 I've ordered have a different driver fitted and the signal integrity is very poor - to the point that this adapter doesn't deliver the advertised data rate. We have emailed the company several times but to no avail. Go with DTech. Added some photos. One (left) of old devices with good drivers. Good sharp edges. I ran them at maximum transfer speeds for several years with no problems. Another photo (right) shows the signals from the new cables. Bad looking signals. Both photos were taken using the same 6 inch cable with a proper 120 ohm load between the +/- wires on the slave. It looks the same without a load.
