Much better than the standard XR2 remote you get from Comcast. This remote has a rubberized finish that feels comfortable in your hand compared to the XR2's hard plastic. The backlight is unlike anything I've seen before. The backlight only turns on when the remote is picked up, unlike other backlit remotes that only turn on when the buttons are pressed. This feature alone is worth it. The side/last and info buttons are a little wide apart due to the large silver directional buttons, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. If you're even considering this remote, spend $5. You will not regret it.
