The Tetra water siphon is good for vacuuming up aquarium water with 30% monthly water changes. The siphon is easy to use - just insert the wide plastic tube into the tank and then start pumping the blue bulb to get the water flowing. Personally, I don't find it any easier to use than a siphon without a lightbulb (to fill this, simply turn the tube upside down, hold it vertically so that the water starts to run down, and then turn it back in an upright position underwater to invert starting the flow), but for those struggling with the beadless siphon starting method, this is a great option. The siphon is easy to use, it easily sucks up small debris without accidentally sucking in small fish or shrimp, it is easy to rinse and clean. While it will work for tanks up to 55 gallons, you might want to consider a larger pipe siphon for 50 gallon tanks and a much smaller pipe siphon for tanks up to 5 gallons - this siphon is best for tanks as small as 10 gallons . In my opinion up to 40 liters. Overall, this is an easy to use siphon that offers many cleaning options for your aquarium.
