High quality, compact mount

[Photos accompany this review] In an industry where "motorcycle mount" is almost synonymous with "RAM mount", Tackform introduces an amazing gamer with their enduro motorcycle mount. I chose the Enduro for its size and build. Except for the thumbscrew, the entire structure is metal (aluminum I think). The compact size of the Enduro is amazing! I agree with most reviewers - the clamping system is pretty secure... but I don't risk a $1,000 phone falling on the freeway at 70 mph, so I still use the included strap on the bottom edge of the phone . The box contains bushings for three handlebars of different sizes. The steering wheel on my Honda Interstate (VT1300CT) is 1.25 inches in diameter. The assembly is very easy, but I almost sent the enduro back because none of the bushings fit. That's when I remembered that Tackform suggests mounting the Enduro bare to metal if you have 1.25 inch handlebars. I had no intention of scratching the chrome so I cut a long strip from the plastic bag that the hardware was in - it worked like magic! However, for $60 you would think this would be included in the box. My Samsung Note 8 with the Otterbox Symmetry case is pretty tight. It's on the larger side of the phones, but there's still room in the clip for larger phones. The band is quite stretchy (pun intended) but fits the Note 8 and case. 5 stars for the design, size and construction of this quality mount. The overall rating drops to 4 stars for A: no largest mounting sleeve and B: no chrome color option. I know black is universal, but typically most bikes are chrome! Updated 11/05/2019. My Samsung Note 10+ with the Otterbox Symmetry Case is perfect for mounting. I have stopped using the sling as the mount has proven stable and secure up to 90mph!
