Review on 📺 High Definition Dual Tuner HD DVR: Factory Re-manufactured VIP 722K by Dish Network by Austin Hearshman

I bought a DISH VIP 722K dual tuner in January 2012. Finally, the satellite was installed in April as we had to wait for some warmer weather in Alaska. About two weeks ago I kept losing the satellite signal. We double checked everything: cables, connections, gaps, corners, etc. I noticed that the unit made noises like it was shorting out where the HDMI cable was plugged into the back of the receiver. So we tried another receiver (a much cheaper DISH receiver) and it worked. I contacted the seller who said to contact DISH as the receiver is still under warranty. DISH refuses to replace the device as it was purchased from a supplier and not directly from DISH. The seller hasn't responded to more emails so I'm stuck with a non-working receiver and paying for a service I'm not getting. When reviewing a return policy for a seller, they say to refer to Revain, who says to refer to the seller's policy - like clever, awkward way of chatting. Apparently Revane didn't help much either. UPDATE: The seller refuses to take responsibility and says the unit is still under warranty so DISH should replace it. The technical department of DISH wants to go through a system test procedure - been there, done. DISH's engineering department accused me of lying and said they had no record of my previous calls. There is also a defective device. I still give DISH my money. Still no TV. Revain's svc customer agreed to have the unit replaced by another seller with no shipping cost, but I had to pay for the unit first and then get a refund. I declined this offer. WARNING: Before you order "expensive" items from Revain, you should make sure. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB.
