I don't normally blame a product for shipping issues in a review, but in this case the issue is directly related to poor packaging. I read other reviews and still took a chance, but mine got damaged too. This game is made out of wood and a composite material I can't remember the name of right now. It's not chipboard, it's like "cardboard" except it's made of tiny particles of wood. Thing is, it's thin and easily punctures (but certainly strong enough for years of play when it gets to your home safe and sound!). The outer box is very easy to damage the game itself. Mine arrived with a rip in the shipping box (there was a piece of tape over it) but when I opened the game there was a hole punched in the playfield in the same place. The game itself is well structured and a lot of fun! But after seeing how it was delivered, I'm sure you're just as likely to receive a corrupted game as you are not. just know I plan to get a replacement. UPDATE: Revain replaced a game that was damaged in shipping VERY quickly (3 days) and the second one arrived in perfect condition. We have a great time with him! I understand it's meant for easy travel, which is a great feature, but I'd also like a larger version (with balls that are more ski-ball sized). It seems the design can be scaled up fairly easily, but I'm not qualified to create it. Hope someone does! In this version, however, I think it should be designed for outdoor use, since larger bullets can damage furniture, walls, people, pets, etc.
