Other reviews have their value, but what they have is a satisfactory solution. One use case was where someone with a reasonably good 24-200mm camera needed a 400/800 zoom. In most cases the resolution is quite detailed at 24-200, but there are also small cases where you need to capture distances. This PowerShot Zoom is small enough for my front mount or in my pocket. I am buying this with the intention of using both my 24-200 for wider shots and my 400/800 for focused shots of animals and objects in the distance. Where it doesn't work as well is in low light conditions, such as in a car. B. at night /moonlight/ and in the early morning. Too much noise that the sensor imposes on the photo. Best used when the subject is fully lit. I agree with some people that a spare battery can have its place. But USB-C charges devices fast enough that I can't be a big problem. The interface takes getting used to. The interface of the phone with the iOS device is still simple and straightforward. I use the word managed because it took over 5 minutes, not 5 seconds.
