The trunk handle wouldn't open on the GMC Sierra, these things broke. In auto parts stores, the handle is sold as a whole. Mine broke, I had to order a new one. The clips worked perfectly. Don't forget to put a rag under the levers so you don't drop the clips in the tailgate. Installation takes 2 minutes at most. An auto parts store sells the entire grip and bezel as a unit for $30 to $40. I spent $16 because the bezel cracked. The panel has no effect on the function of the trunk.
