Review on 🧹 Lunaglow Nano Self-Cleaning Vacuum Cleaner by Russell Hodzic

I love tech household items so I was very intrigued when I saw the new LunaGlow Nano! It didn't disappoint! While I don't think it can completely replace a standard home vacuum (at least in a carpeted home), it's by far the best solution I've found for cleaning vinyl floors and cleaning up small messes. First impressions: The actual box it came in (from Revain) was huge. When I then opened the huge box, the actual packaging was surprisingly small and compact (see the photo of the dog for scale). After opening it, I was able to attach the handle, plug in the charging dock, and have the device up and running in less than 3 minutes. Very impressive! I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was already charged and reached me with 99% battery. I love to play with new "toys" right away, so I have to use them right away! First task: dry rice. My kids played with the sensory basket (dry rice in a plastic tub) and made a big mess on our vinyl floors. I was very impressed with how well he managed to lift each seed! It struggled really close to the wall, no big deal, my big Dyson can't get as close as the LunaGlow so it was still way better than what I was using. LunaGlow far outperformed Dyson in terms of rice harvested per pass (see video). At first glance I thought the Dyson picked up rice well, but when I turned the machine off I found it left a huge pile of rice, but the LunaGlow wasn't. I have two young children and the noise level from vacuum cleaners is always an issue. I am concerned about possible hearing loss, particularly from a noisy household vacuum cleaner. I downloaded an app to quickly measure noise (probably not the most scientific way to do it) and was pleasantly surprised when the LunaGlow was about 4 decibels quieter than the Dyson (LunaGlow avg 71dB, Dyson 75dB). I've also used a small portable Aposen rechargeable vacuum around the house from time to time (in addition to my Dyson). In noise tests, the Aposen was quieter than the LunaGlow (64dB, making it the quietest of the three devices I compared), but the LunaGlow's performance far outstrips the Aposen's cleaning power. Next test: wipe the floor! I let my kids paint the floor to try the LunaGlow mopping feature. It took me a bit to figure out which button does what (the self-clean button looks like it's supposed to spray water, but anyone who reads the instructions will see that the water spray button is much more accessible and maybe more intuitive). ). After figuring that out, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well the machine can mop! While I'm still faster with a warm washcloth with some soap for quick spills and the like, I'm finally replacing my wet jet with LunaGlow. LunaGlow did about 80%-90% as good as I could clean the floor with my hands and knees, which is good enough to save me from hand washing the entire floor; (By comparison, I'd say a wet blast would clean 30-40% as well as thorough hand scrubbing.) After cleaning the literally wet paint, I placed the machine back on the charging dock to charge it and clean yourself. I didn't add any extra water or a cleaning capsule from what was already in the device and that was enough to get the self-cleaning cycle through. After completing the cycle I checked the roller and there was no trace of blue or green paint left - really impressive! A little note about the cleanup function: while it was fast, it was LOUD. I checked the noise level in the sound meter app, it was around 75-76 dB. I was very surprised when I heard the noise but like I said it passed quickly so it's no big deal. Overall easy 5 stars. I'm replacing my small handheld vacuum AND wet blaster with a LunaGlow.
