Easy install, works great

They are very easy to install. When the old ones are removed, simply insert them without tools. They fit perfectly on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't know why there is a right and a left because they appear to be identical, just like the standard ones. I've searched for them a lot on the internet and at $40 a pair this was by far the best deal. And they work great. The overhead gate now raises effortlessly, lifts to the stop and holds itself.
