As a hesitant buyer, I decided to give these liftgate supports a try and I am so glad I did. As a result of using this automotive product, I found that they were easy to install and gave my vehicle the perfect lift. The support on my liftgate is now outstanding and reliable. The only downside is that the price is a little high, but it's worth it for the quality. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!

Easy installation, less than 5 minutes. Two people are needed, one holding the trunk while you remove the old one. The second side was a little tight, but it came out with a little effort. Fits my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

They are very easy to install. When the old ones are removed, simply insert them without tools. They fit perfectly on the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't know why there is a right and a left because they appear to be identical, just like the standard ones. I've searched for them a lot on the internet and at $40 a pair this was by far the best deal. And they work great. The overhead gate now raises effortlessly, lifts to the stop and holds itself.
