Some plugs are for heavy wall tubing and some are for thin wall tubing. Is it important. If you order a dowel with a thicker wall than yours, the dowel will be too small and can easily fall out. If you order a connector with a thinner wall thickness than yours, you may not be able to fit that connector into your application.
