Review on Emoly Silicone Egg Ring - Non-Stick Cooking Rings for Perfect Fried Eggs or Pancakes (4pcs) - Multicolor by Bryan Sperling

I bought a set of these 4 rings about a year ago and while they weren't perfect they worked well enough. After realizing that I sometimes had to boil more than four eggs in one skillet at a time, I purchased this set which is advertised as identical to my original purchase. However, they are not the same. These new rings are thinner and lighter. See photos, the blue rings were originally purchased, the red rings were recently purchased. I think you will find that these rings work when pressed and held to create a seal so obviously the problem can be solved with a product that is a little heavier not lighter. The seller seems to be using fewer materials and making a cheaper product, which I think is misleading.
