It's SO easy! Twist the old one and remove it as all the wet parts are inside the cylinder. So hold up the open end (the opposite of what you're holding) and then allow it to drain into the sink while you insert the new one and turn it a quarter and you're done. Then take a half-gallon or one-gallon pitcher and pour out a gallon of water. Then everything is fine.
