I bought two of these for my 6 and 7 year old boys. They are well made and true to size! I like the bottom shoe/boot compartment. It's a rule that my boys go onto the pitch in shoes or flip flops/flip flops, change into cleats for practice/game and then back into the shoes they wore on the pitch. It helps protect my car from dirt or red dirt! The bottom zip pocket is perfect for that! It also completely covers the shoes. Therefore, dirt does not get into the pocket where the helmet is stored. The main compartment offers enough space for a helmet with face shield and a small glove or baseball. We use the top small zipped compartment for batting gloves/phone, sunflower seeds etc. Love the mesh and elasticated sides that bats hold them in! Last year I was lugging around a giant full size bat bag with all of our gear (including trainer gear). This year I can send the guys onto the field with their own gear and my big bag isn't that bulky and heavy! I'm so happy with them and I love the price point too! Cheaper than branded products I've found at retail and more features (shoe compartment). Another feature I love is the hook on the pocket! It makes my job as an assistant trainer/dugout mom so much easier! If you buy this bag for your little ones, you won't be dissatisfied!
