Maybe just personal preference but I don't like that the ends aren't connected end to end. Because of this, I kept adapting. Even with my ankle twisted, I couldn't get rid of this problem. It will definitely collapse and/or expand when you try to use it. There's a lot of length, but it seems so unnecessary to have such a long length when the ends can be tied and the whole thing shortened. There's also plenty of heat protection so again all the length is unnecessary. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it's not even remotely convenient for that one reason. You won't get burned, but how many coats do you need from this thing. Eventually you just weld your finger into the joint. I can get right to the weld by rolling it up like it's sewn on the ends. I can see this thing starting to smoke, I'm so close and I feel nothing. If I'm wrong please post directions lol. (Unlikely since it's not rocket science). I also weld at 225 so that gives you a rough idea of how much heat I could potentially be exposed to.
