
I would like to say right away that I really liked this hedge. This is good value for money. However, it just didn't work. The main problem I had was that the center of the brier just wouldn't accept ink. I repeatedly ran the thorn bush over a perfectly flat sheet of glass containing ink and you could see that only the sides of the thorn bush had picked up pigment. The center is visibly exposed. You can't put enough pressure on the center of the roll for it to be effective. Only the sides of this brailler actually make contact with the surface you roll it on. It's just not the best ink mandrel. For that I'll probably need a hard rubber letter like "
