Review on Mirror Mount Radar Detector Bracket for Escort MAX MAX2 - Radar Mount by Douglas Davis

I was a little scared to buy this mount because of all the negative reviews. I am very satisfied so far. I drive a lot (25,000 miles a year, I live on Long Island and commute to work in New York, the pothole capital, and despite ALL those bumps, the radar detector only fell off its mount once and never happened again. As mentioned, snaps the tab that goes into the mount does NOT go in the radar like it should or like the OEM mount BUT I think the design is really great The ONLY thing that could be a little bit better is the adjustment knobs don't let it go any lower hanging as you see in the picture making it difficult to access the bar on the mirror to raise or lower it when you let those idiots drive around with the high beams on Overall THIS is a pretty good mount and better than buying a windshield mount after the sun has weakened its ability to stay on the windshield A mirror mount also gives you a BETTER place to work.
